Food for Thought is an ethical eatery in North Bridge Road that was set up in 2007 by a group of educators who wanted to serve eco-conscious food and at the same time spread the word on social issues.
The cafe did so well that they opened a second outlet on Queen Street next to the Singapore Art Museum in early 2010.
Today they will close the North Bridge Road cafe and re-open in November in lush new surroundings at the Botanic Gardens.
The Botanic Garden outlet is a casual restaurant big enough to house 200 pax with a outdoor playground to keep the kids occupied. The Brunch set below cost $8 for 3 items and $3 for each addition. Rest of the menu averages between $8-12 while the mains such as pork ribs or steak are going for $20-23.
